~/about

I’m a software development manager for Comcast in Philadelphia. I joined the fledgling Comcast Interactive Media (CIM) group in 2006 to help build the xfinitytv.comcast.net site. In 2009, I moved to a new division to work on the snazzy new X1 platform, focusing on the metadata-side of the house (the glamorous stuff).

Prior to my life at Comcast, I lived in Washington, DC and worked for High Performance Technologies, Inc. (HPTi) for 2.5 years. I worked as a software developer on a Treasury Department project and as a developer / requirements analyst on a Department of Justice project.

I graduated with a B.S. (‘03) and M.S. (‘04) in Computer Science from Lehigh University. I played four years on LUFT, the club ultimate frisbee team, which is the nerdiest but best team at Lehigh. During school, I ordered lots of Turkey Ganders from The Goose.

In terms of technologies that I use, I rely on some of the Java usual suspects (Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven). I’ve recently been getting into and really enjoying Python as well.
